Often life’s experiences can leave us feeling confused, dissatisfied, stuck, in pain. Sometimes we realise that we are just not feeling ‘quite right’ and that past and present difficulties are blocking us from thriving and meeting our full potential. We can have a sense that there is more to life, but it feels difficult to know how to ‘get there’. Sometimes we are fully aware that our trauma governs our behaviour, but that the prospect of processing life’s events feels almost impossible.
I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate, warm, empathic holding space in which I will meet you where you are in your life. We will work together exploring your inner landscape, at your pace, in order to gain a deeper understanding of your internal world, and learn to foster a kind relationship with yourself. The relationship with yourself is the most important one you will ever have. Psychotherapy is a wonderful, transformative and empowering investment in that.
Core Process is a fusion of western psychodynamic, trauma informed therapeutic models and eastern philosophies. It is based on Buddhist foundations. My approach is to compassionately explore how life experiences show up in the ‘here and now’, by gently being curious about, and enquiring into the embodied experiences that show up in the relational field.
